Ph.D. in Computer Science (Operating Systems field) from Polish Academy of Sciences in 1977. Ph.D. thesis title: ``Shift register networks as a model for synchronization of parallel processes''.
D.Sc. in Informatics (Image Processing field) from Warsaw University of Technology in 1994. D.Sc. monograph title: ``Methods for representation of digital images'' (book of 430 pages published in Polish by Academic Publishing House PLJ, Warsaw 1993).

HDIGIT  - research program for  handwritten digit recognition (1997- leader);
ObjectNet -  server and client classes for arbitrary objects communication (1998 - leader);
DBI -  Internet system for  access and updating of Publications and Projects SQL Databases  of  Electronics Department (1998-2000 -  leader);
M3S - Multimedia System for Monitoring and Surveillance implemented together with Polixel SA (1999-2000 - leader).
